rods and pistons question

standard crank , that the 6 bolt yes??

rods 21mm or 22mm

pistons , gen 1 or gen2 .


not sure exactly what i need

could you advise on the specs requierd for the staz.

what pistons to use on staz rods ?

or if i were to replace them with eagle or spool what pins do i req for the crank ?

ive been looking for some new stuff but i am not exactly of the specs .


for those who have done this do you know the part numbers and brands .

i know all the stuff for the t/cam motor , but im not sure with what wil work for the sohc .

The starion rods are 21mm pin, I know this as I have one in front of me right now. There are conflicting posts on this site that say otherwise. The big end width is 28.36mm with 0.1mm sideplay on stock crank(45mm journal) if that helps, forged rods may need more sideplay due to expansion. Yes the starion in a 6 bolt crank so you need gen1 6bolt gear.
SOHC, Multipoint, Steampipe Exhaust Manifold, Intercooled.

yes starions absolutely positively have 21mm gudgeons, so yes use all gen 1 twin cam stuff, it all works with the sohc..
Fibreglass airdams $370, fibreglass front bumpers $260, reco drag links $165, alloy radiators $925 (unpolished), h/l switch rebuilds $125, all plus freight.

i thought id ask , as i searched thru the site and there are 50/50 on what size they are .
