Rear CV boots

Post by TD05 »

Are these hard to replace I just had a look and one of them is split open, must have happened recently, there's still grease splashed inside the mudguard, are those universal ones ok... you know the ones that don't require the removal of the drive shaft???

You can replace the boot on the outside one. Mitsub may even have a boot kit if you're real lucky.

Can your email handle 3.3M files, I can send the manual pages so you can see how to do it.
Or I can sell you a drive shaft

CV Boot

Had one of these go recently. Took mine in to have it done. Too bloody hard for me! :D

Had the whole drive shaft replaced and I don't think there were any left in Oz. You may have to go 2nd hand so you might want to take Al up on his offer.
