Starion doing the sleeper sleepy eyes
has anyone here managed to get it going?
i saw some starions doing it on this site.. just wondering how you guys did it..?
in the 180's, the pop up lights had a little winder in the head light motor you can just simply turn.. i didnt think there is something similar in the starion.. but just wondering

lie on floor, look up under lights, remove wire clip and rubber boot thing and there is you winder. the manual states YOU MUST DISCONECT THE MOTOR (the 6 or so pin round connector) when manualy moveing lights. every pop-up light since the dawn of time has these.
I figured out the meaning of life, and since then every day just gets worse.

i was reading in HPI a while ago about using a 2$ switch (i think the ones that only switch if youre depressing the switch i they're called always off switches)on the wire to the lights and using it to stop the light before it's all the way maybe if you put one of these on the wire to the fuse you can use it as a lazy eyes switch anyone got any ideas??
How fast do those doorhandles go mate!

yup, this would work.. :D any sort of switch would do... doesnt matter if its always on or always off.. just run the wire into the cabin. simple as that.4g6beat wrote:i was reading in HPI a while ago about using a 2$ switch (i think the ones that only switch if youre depressing the switch i they're called always off switches)on the wire to the lights and using it to stop the light before it's all the way maybe if you put one of these on the wire to the fuse you can use it as a lazy eyes switch anyone got any ideas??

Supposedly to help intake and cooling. Air comes in under the headlights, but I don't think it flows through on our cars.Cookiemonster wrote:Whats the reason to make the headlights half stick up? I can't think of any.
I just did it then by pulling the fuse out, looks pretty cool, certainly something different.
There's a thread about it here:

And pics of a switch on the fuse here:
