Guys, the speed actuator (the bit on the drivers side suspension turret)
Is it for the cruise control?
And if so - can I just unplug and junk it?
Its taking up valuable room where I want my oil catch can to go, when I rip up the airbox.
Speed Actuator?

Hi
Our starions don't come with any kind of cruise control.
Define Rip up the air box, as this must be retained unless runnin aftermarket ECU.

Airbox has the oil catch on the side.
Its my long winded route for tidying things up and moving intercooler pipes.
I'm moving the windscreen washer bottle from under the airbox to the bulkhead
to free up room to move the airbox down
to vent some air to there from the frotn spoiler
to move it down I have to remove the oil catch cannister off the side so I can cut the box up.
standard box will be retained, because its got the air mass lark in it :D but just need to relocate and cut it up.
then aftermarket oil catch can can go on the drivers side suspension turret
but at the moment the speed actuator is in the way, so I wanna junk it, cos who needs cruise control?
Aaaaaaand breathe :D
That make sense?

I'm at work but this should do
just above the blue hose coming out the turbo, its the bit with the cables going into it on the front side of suspension turret, half hidden by the intercooler hose.
Thats where I wanna mount the oil catch can when I cut the airbox up.
I'm assuming that you dont know the bit I'm on about cos you dont have cruise control, and therefore it is something to do with cruise control and I can junk it :) big assumption but I guess I'll find out when I take it off...
