Where the hell did you get a 1981 Starion!? Are you sure have the right car? Clear lights are RICE anyway...

I must have one of the first runs.
Just checked my build plate and my starion was assembled in January 82!

You can tell what build number it is by the last digits on the VIN. I think i'm around 800

As far as I'm aware, build #'s 001 to 400 where built in Feb 1982.

Just a comment about cleared lights.
I don't think you can clear JA style lights....just tint them a fraction. I reckon they look cool this way!!
JB+/Conquest lights can be cleared...and a little pricey, due to the risk of damaging them and unavailability.
The other improvement to the JA lights is the Japan/US style number plate holder instead of Oz/Europe style ones.
Cheaper approach too!!
