If it´s this youre looking for I can tell you the wight is about 1070kg.
So you can see its different to the Sigma.
I use Koni shocks with special coils. I know that the rear ones from the Escort MKII will fit in the front.

Hello Mate
Greetings from the US ! :beer
SWEET looking car mate ! Yours I take it ?
Well the weight info helped but the fact and info on the Escort MKII does not help me one bit as here Stateside we have all different types and are not the same as Euro Spec cars.
So I am affraid I will still need the OD (Outside diameter on the Struts so I can provide another member in the Manila/Phillipines with the correct Coil Over set-up from the States.
As if you happen to know the lenght of the strut INSERT you used on the housings that will be great as he may also need shockies.
Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.
Cheers from California ! :beer

Could an 85 be FWD maybe? Most 85s over here would be of the FWD persuasion...

Note also that the complete starion strut will bolt into it as long as teh top caps are swapped, may also need to swap bottom arms, if the lancer has press in ball joints.

They're a solid axel rear end, so no dice alas, nothing really interchangeable. Ive heard rumours of people getting crazy-loco and putting in the entire IRS rear end... Would be a hell of a job tho.
Swapping in the starion front struts is a piece of piss however, swap the top hats over, swap the bottom arms in aswell and your good to go. You'll want to check what this does to the alignment and camber however, as the steering knuckles are a little shorter, so on a different radius, and the bottom arms are a little longer. Oh, you'll need the tie-rods out of the starion aswell. Infact, its probably easier to drop the whole front x-member and struts out as one and bolt it in the lancer... The cross member fits :). Then throw in a starion turbo motor and you'll be laughing.
You can put the starion steering knuckles on the lancer bottom arms, as the balljoint tapers are the same. This would allow you to keep the lancer bottom arms and shizzle. I tried this and found the discs rub on the edge of the bottom arm unfortunatly... Angle grinder fixed that problem for towing, but not really driveable.
Cool cars :). Starions are better tho ;).

something to watch with swapping starion front struts into a lancer crossmember is that the lancer struts sit more upright than the starion, and even if you use starion struts , bottom arms and stering knuckles you will have positive camber at std ride height, as you lower it becomes less of an issue, but i extended my bottom arms by around 25mm per side, at std ride height on starion springs this resulted in around 3.5 degrees negative, way too much for a road car but sufficient to counteract a locked diff on a gravel car.
