I have a G62B 1.8 that i need to know the differences between it and a starion G63B. Only thing i noticed was the bore and stroke. Might be imported, and yes its a wideblock.

sounds like a lancer turbo block to me if it's wide block, if so it's basically a rwd cordia motor and anything that applies to that will apply to this block.

you mean the sigma shape jap lancer? any idea if you could use a 2.4 crank and bore the block up to 85mm or more?
The reason i ask is id put it in a datto that you can only fit up to 1.8 turbo/sc in, and have a 2.3 or 2.4 dohc in a datto 1200

No you cant bore the 4g62 out to 2.0 litre. The maximum normal
oversize is 1.5mm. You could fit a 2.4 crank but then you would need
custom pistons.

A turbo 1.8L in a 1200 dato is plenty!!!
