Hey tomsun,
What was the part # at repco, I rang the local repco here and the guy I talked to didn't have a clue about them..

Good thinking, now all we need is for people to use the search function!

There wasn't a part number? (I don't think)
Ask for Scott at the Liverpool REPCO Branch 9602 0022 ... He had to order them in for me.
The first 3 suppliers he spoke to didn't know what he was talking about...
Ask him for the part number.
Cheers,
Pete

these and the jet valve are made of steel, which will cause hot spot
in the combustion chamber. i would take 1 to a local machinist and have him turn a few from billet aluminum, use thread lok to seal it in or if you head is off the engine have them welded in. this will keep from creating a hot spot for detonation, head cracking.
those that can follow keep up,those who cant leave them

hmm... ?
They are off a similar material to the great big valves that are there as well as the spark plug tip.
If I was really worried about it I would just get a non jet valve head off an L300 van. (Prolly cheaper than getting aluminium jet valve)
And when welding a head there is always a risk of that part of the head going soft due to melting the head and changine the material properties.
