hey guys i got a funny noise comin from under the hood....
its not comin from the turboside though, sounds like a hi-pitched squeal
could anyone point me in the right direction of wat it could be???

alternator belt, airconditioner belt, or power steering belt. Try tightening them.

i bet its your alternator belt.. they make a horrible squeeling noise when they feel like it

What Chris said. A spray on the belts with WD-40 will shut them up for a day or so. It's a good way to diagnose a noisy belt problem.
If this is the case then replace them.

A/C, when i found out it was my air con I just cut the belt.
The Air Con clutch might be stuffed. Check it out.

dry lube works well aswell, looks like a chap stick crossed with a crayon, shuts it right up

My car lives on WD-40! My belts squeal like hell! Shuts them up for a couple of days! :D
