I've heard around 15 hp gained in dropping one of them, apparently you need to keep one because it drives the oil pump. I want to drop myne when I come round to it but I hear the odd engine can shake like hell without them.

I've ditched one and cut down the oil pump one and the engine seems ok so far. Having said that there is only 110km's on the new engine and I haven't pushed it hard yet.
