im thinking down the track of puttin a dry kit on the starion...

anyone know much about them? (my knowlege is fairly limited)
can you inject the spray through the I/C piping or am thinking of somethin else?

i was going to go with a smaller kit, gain of hopefully round 30-40 hp

is this possible/practical/cost effective or a danger to engine life?

any input would be greatly appreciated

A dry Kit is not recommended for a turbo engine, the wet system is ideal for forced induction. Dry kits are good for N/A cars.

Bang for buck nitrous kits are very good. have you done some research on ther net for kits, kits like Zex, nitrous express, hhmmm what else.

Nitrous injection wont blow a engine if its installed correctly and tuned right. There is two requirements for safe usage>

Purge kit
zex spark plugs, or just get plugs 2 cold range lower.

If your ECU has the facilities you can use a dry kit.. primarily you need to have an input to the ECU to let you run a richer mixture when the nitrous is on. I've seen some kits that bump up the fuel pressure when on nitrous but this is risky IMHO.
