I suspect that with the smaller number of starions about compared to other cars plus the fact that they come out with a turbo attached has not left anybody wanting... yet... Have you a supercharger to play with?

supercharging would cast a lto of mney just to get up to turbo level of performance.
and starion turbo is so small that its like haveing a blower

Some number to think about...
A 2L with at 6800rpm with 15psi it will make 200kw (flywheel) or
A 2L with at 8000rpm with 23psi it will make 307kw (flywheel)
And it not just about peak power... it will be making more usable power down low and right through the rev range...
A Eaton M90 would do it nicely... :D
I am tempted...

yes
but you can get better power from a turbo.
the turbo will be faster, becasue of less parasitic drag.
also fuel consumption will be horrible

I toyed with this idea too, a blower where the AC compressor sits, pumping some 3 psi at 1500 rpm would be nice . lots of down low torque, but methinks the top end would suffer abit, but traffic light drag racing would be interesting...

I think the reason no one has gone the supercharged route is because the cost outweighs any benefits when considering they come out with a turbocharger standard. With the 4g63 being an undersquare engine you could argue that a supercharge would match the character of the engine.
I remember reading many years back a F1 team was testing using a supercharger (during the days of turbocharging). On a tight circuit that was laguna seca where the supercharger should have an advantage it was a few seconds slower than the turbo F1 car.

That's where the turbo will be useful in a twincharger system ;)
