i know that the dynalite calipers they used were not actually legal on a street car (no dust boots on the caliper pistons) but what about the other ones they mentioned?? does anyone know if they do??

Not street legal either to the best of my knowledge. They are a race caliper.

nsx brakes will be more than enough to do the job, they pulled up steves starion unbeleiveably well at wakefield, even with the smaller of the 2 types.

Gary. Hopper Stoppers have a kit 4 about $1600 with 330 AU3XR8 discs &2spot calipers that are legal and would fill out your new wheels nicely but i fear they may not be exotic enough 4 u :) :)

My car is engineered and registered with the wilwood calipers, but obviously you will have to check your local regulations.

As I offered previously, I'm happy for you to pull mine apart and have the caliper brackets copied.
Then buy the Alcons from PWR, the DBA 5000 EVO 8 hats and HSV discs from just about anywhere.

Has anyone considered fitting GTO/3000GT calipers to a Starion?

but thats about as far as it got, calipers are only 300 a pair, so if you can get the bracket made cheap, would be good option.

Starion backing plate it totally different to scorpion unfortunately.
If enough people were keen, I'd be happy to draw a bracket for Commo callipers to NSX discs for Starion.
