the connections seem fine just not making any noise.
the hose connected to the Bov comes from a black round thing near the boost sensor, on a JD Starion. the round thing has two hoses coming off it one to the boost sensor the other too the the air box.

is this connected right?

would appreciate some help on this.
thanx in advance

The vacuum line on my BOV connects to the inlet manifold, and with a t join, connects up to the boost sensor...

More info? Did it use to work? and has now stopped or is this the first time you have connected it up?
You may need to come directly off the inlet manifold to you BOV valve, don't tie into anywhere else. Put all the hoses back in there original position.

top hose off bov to inlet manif. DO NOT plumb the other hose into anything.

yep the bov worked in my JA. i'll try this directly off the inlet manifold to see if it'll work. block off rest of the hoses till i replace em.

thanx

The only other thing to check, is pull the BOV apart and oil it.
Most BOV's need to come apart every 6 months and give them some silcone oil.
Hope this helps

it's a cheap bov with holes around it with a bolt type cap on it where u fit the hose to it. :D

i refitted a hose from the right side of three hose connections under the injection throttle body to the bov. the hose from the round plastic thing re-routed back on the tee piece. so the air flow goes back to the boost sensor.

hope this works?

update:
i put some new hoses on from under the throttle body centre connection to the Bov. reconnected a hose that goes to the round thing near the boost sensor to the right side connection under the throttle body.
& put some zip ties on to keep hoses on so as to not slip off.
when i did this the car ran a little faster. so i adjusted the idle screw.

car runs smoother now :D

has anyone who owns a JD Starion ever fitted a connection between the hose from the manifold that goes to the brake booster? (TO THE BOV)
i think it would not be a good idea due to this hose being the brake booster hose?
just a thought. hmmm

If the bov dies or leaks then neither will your brake booster.
