hi, just wondering if any of you have seen these???
http://www.fuelinjectionpro.com/
was looking at the TB-PRO2.
looks as if the control unit can be re-mapped() looked at the software downloads and it looks like a megasquirt system), runs 2x 1025cc injectors- LARGE :o
just wondered if any one had any clue why it would not work?????

Any ideas?????????????????

I cant see why it cant work, they went to the extent to make the custom throttlebody/injector cage, plus i guess if you want to buy this your gona have to boost up the engine more than now, cos youll get the fuel setup, injectors to cope with the power increase.

I run that setup. Soon to be with a td05h-16g..

The only reason that it wouldn't work, is if the 2.0L(assuming you have this motor) has a different TB than the 2.6L's.. Either that, or if the 2.0L's coolant temp sensor is a different thread/pitch than the 2.6L's... The rest of the kit is pretty much universal..

Ed(FIP) is a cool guy, and i'm sure he can answer any questions you have..

yer , i saw that- could come in handy when it comes to my installation :o
my injection system is the late 2ltr system , withe the injectors showing, not in the eci case, so i think this is the same (or simlar??).
spoke to Ed at fuel injection pro, and he states that the system will run with a few minor adjustments to the MAP settings. boost is not a prob- just havin forged pistons etc fitted :D :D :D :D

all i can do is try :D :D
just thought id be diffrent :D

There's nothing else to comment on really.. If you're not going full MPI, then this system is what you want.. Either that, or plumb some injectors into the Y's of the manifold and control them with some kind of AIC...
