Hmmmm, definatly interesting. 4 valve reliefs in every piston, yet only 3 valves per cylinder.

i thought the dash engine used early VR4 pistons, hence the extra valve cut out.

So they only have to have one mould, save money etc.

yeah but they can'
t be taht diff from vr4 what i;m thinking is vr4 forged pistons are easy to get so may be a straight swap

also the oil solenoid on the head that controls the other 4 valves its cool

No, but they are comparable to VR4 pistons as they're basically the same.

You'll also note that 8 valve engines have 3 valve reliefs per piston. As it was said before, looks like Mitsi was thinking ahead :)

will a dash head bolt straight on? and is it worth bolting one staright on if possible?

how much more power can the dash head produce?

I think you'll need the pistons with the four valve recesses.

I dont think they do man... They have a heart shaped dish in them, its a more efficient combustion design.
