Can anyone suggest some good shock absorber brands to suit a starions sporty character, without getting too expensive.

I'm actually after some rear shocks for a A183 chassis, no one seems to stock shocks for the IRS model.. the most common model :?
Yet they have them for the A182 non turbo model.

Anyone know where to get them?

HEEEEELP, it's going to cost me near a thousand dollars otherwise, just for a pair of rear shocks fitted.

The problem is monroe, koni, and KYB don't make rear shocks for starions anymore. I've tried about 8 different places all with the same answer.

The other alternatives are try to get some matched or get my struts modified and new shocks to suit.

If you are keen on a set of adjustable coil overs for cheap keep an eye out on japan ebay. they come up from time to time.

You have very little choice,
Contact oscar in the USA he can hook you up with either KYB or Tokico DIRECT REPLACMENT items which will fit without any mods.
Cost is around $650 delivered if I recall correctly (dont hold me to that)

Hello mates

I can most definatelly provide any of you with replacement shocks and struts and I will strongly suggest you guys stay away from ebay US for these parts as most sellers there sell old stock that has been sitting on shelves for years. I ONLY use a race shop that orders directly from Manufacturer so you are sure to get the best directly from the manufacture's stock and not someones old stock.

Will gladdly help anyone with this after I get back home from Vacation after Jan 10th.

And the same way I can source ot shocks and struts and I also source out ANY other part you may need just e-mail me your request and I will send you a quote for your request.

Cheers and happy new year !
Oscar
