Finally after collecting parts for what seems like an eternity - it's all bolted on my staz and running! :o

Just gotta paint that bottom pipe (she's gettin' rusty already), tidy up some wiring and give her a tune (more boost, more boost :D :D :D)

A HUGE thanks to Cooks (the guru), the good Dr, the Soms and anyone else who got down and greasy, swore and chucked spanners across the garage, then laughed at me breaking a nail - especially in last weekends heat! You guys rock!

But umm, not sure that i did anything - unless me crawling around under my trackcar at my place pulling suspension bits apart while you guys were round at Cookies doing your thing was helping - oh I get it now, I wasn't anywhere near you and that helps.

Cheers
Greg

nice one Hoon, as a matter of interest for those with TBI still, could you tell us if it 's a lot better???, I'd love to know if it is worth the trouble as far as driveability and power increse are concerned...

MPI Difference

Hi Guys, those of you wondering whether it makes a difference.
Some of you may be aware that I did mine last September.
I fitted a cooler as well and already had the aftermarket ECU.
When dynoed the car was running 150KW at the wheels @5000 revs. 12lbs boost. I'd say that is a bit of a difference!
We are hoping that Kaths will make about the same kind of power.

A word of warning tho. In both our cases the car was running damn hot without a cooler. You have to do both at the same time or you are just going to fry the engine!!!
