Hi the brakes on the JA have gone really heavy. The pedal feels solid with very little movement.
I've checked and have vacuum at the booster so according to the manual it would appear that the booster is dead.

Before I replace it anybody else had this problem and fixed it any other way?

Yep, the booster is dead, take it out and send it to a brake repair place.
And get them to re-kit it, new seals etc.. around $160 to get it fixed.
