Ok, took the alternator to the auto elect around the corner, said i needed a regulator, used one of his to see if it would work, said it would be 45 bucks, i said no thanks (knew it was too exxy) then went and got a replacement one today. Go to plug it in, but there is no spade(male prong) to hook the female connector onto. I feel like a dumbass but i cant work it out. Perhaps the auto elect has taken something needed to fit it? Note the new item is identical to the old one, dont know where the wire is supposed to go.
