windscreen washer bottle

Has any body moved the bottle to increase air flow to the intake? There is a rather large hole which would increase the amount of cold air getting to it. I have got the bottle out but want to know where other people have mounted it. At the moment all I can think of is behind the front bumper. there no room anywhere else. This blocks a little of the airflow to my oil cooler and /or a bit to the intercooler.

from what i've seen there are two places you can put it in a factory sense, next to the radiator jammed in there with the air filter infront of it, or the intercooled style, which is next to the oil cooler infront of the radiator, hope this helps

I suppose there's nothing stopping you from getting a smaller washer bottle or make one and put a motor in and put it where you like and bob's your auntie.

cheers for the help people. the factory bottle is too big to practically sit anywhere else. I will have to look around at these other bottles.

TD05...the main reason for moving the water bottle is so that u can get a pipe down to the open area below the drivers side headlight. This seems to be a better source for cold air than the normal side entry near the wheel type setup.
Where do other people have their cold air drawn from?

do you use the headlight squirters? just take the windscreen bottle out, run a hose to the headlight squirter bottle?
oh, and dont forget to connect the wires that go into the old windscreen bottle motor to the motor on the headlight squirter bottle other wise ur gonna have to push that button to squirt the windscreen

i have taken my windscreen washer bottle out an replaced it with a smaller one i found at home.. and have take out my head light bottle out so i can run my intercooler pipes through there... have shifted the headligt bottle to inside the grill an moved the head light sprayers to the front of the cooler... my cold air runs through were the windscreen washer bottle was too

Here comes the lateral thinking. nice have to look at some of these options some more.
