Hello guys...

Bellow I have attached a pic of a lightened 240mm flywheel from a 88-89 US Starion. The Factory unit is anywere from 32 to 36 pounds in weight. The one pictured bellow is 24 pounds. A very nice weight reduction in rotating mass thus making the engine spin faster due to less weight to move around. This mod is very nice as you will definatelly increase your acceleration and throttle responce.

Oscar,
I will weigh one of our 4G63 SOHC flywheels I think they are lighter than the 4G54 already??? However I can confirm they are at least interchangable. Maybe someone else can answer I won't be able to check until Friday.

From when I changed my Clutch, the flywheel and clutch ect was actaully a much wider diameter then the 4G63. The entire overall size is bigger so I don't think that it is interchangable.

I run a N/A 4G54 and run the auto block to run the smaller 4G52 flywheel
which I lightened this was a good start
however i then machined a new flywheel from 4140 steel and with the ringgear fitted weighed in at 5 Kg around 11 pound

now that is a 10 1/2" dia with a starion flywheel being arond 12 " dia
they could be made around 16 pound at a gess
that is with 4140 not cast

What I mean is that the 4G63 SOHC flywheel will bolt onto the 4G54 crank.
