Most HP Using Standard Cam

What is the most power made by anyone using the standard camshaft? It will be interesting to note how much power can be made with the standard cam and also its limitations as there have been differing theories on this recently.
So post away people.
So far, I have managed 213.5HP@wheels using a standard cam.

198 but as I said had to back timing off due to pinging. Was making great power curve up until then.

140hp @ wheels...LOL...pretty low compared to you blokes...but that was on 9psi...does anyone know how much horse power each psi gives you. im on 16 psi now. not quite sure how much extra hp it will give.

Correct me if I am wrong here but from what I have gathered on the dyno and from fiddling with my starion for a few years now extra boost does not give you that much extra power if all else is not OK in the engine performance department. Sure 20psi goes harder than 10 but certainly nothing like twice the power. If it was that simple we would just wind the boost up to 30psi and buy some earmuffs.

im not to sure....iv had a full rebuild...the starion has pretty low compresion...so i thought you could run higher boost... im not a expert in this so not sure....guy at the dyno centre said i should be seeing at least 175-180 at the rears with 16 psi
No Way

Sorry but there is no way you would see 180 HP ATW with a standard engine just by winding up the boost. THATS 180KW at the engine just by adding 6psi ( I think the JA is 10psi standard isnt it ? ) Anyway if I could gain 55kw just by adding 6PSI then thats it, Im off to the Starion shed with my alan key and cranking that sucker up. Look out 400kw !!!

well isnt 101kw at the wheels roughly 160kw at the engine.....i dont know i could be wrong....im just goin by what the guy at the dyno said...he also said that by giving it more boost i should see close to 120kw at the wheels....it didnt come from my mouth im just repeating what was told to me...only internals are standard in my engine...excpet for forged pistons, but they shouldnt give it more hp coz there just based on the standard piston...an that wasnt my idea...wankers at city dismantlers built my engine an they wouldnt put h.p pistons in...
if im wrong please correct me

you sound like a bit of a expert... if i am getting 101kw at the rears.... computer said the engine was receiving 9psi....if it were to be bumped up to 16psi....roughly how many rear wheels kw would i receive...

If you are running a standard engine you will not be able to boost it to 16psi as the computer will cut the fuel at around 12 psi I think ?
No I dont think an extra 7psi would give you an extra 20kw atw I think that is around 60kw at the engine. Not possible I dont think on standard engine with boost alone. A lot of other things to consider before that amount opf power gain is possible. Fuel supply being one with thje standard injectors etc. Exhaust, ECU the list goes on.

i starion has 2.5inch exhaust turbo back, tc05/tc06,forged pistons, custom intercool, fuel cut defender, cold air, open air box an k an n filter, boost control....
well sorry, like i said...im just repeating what i heard, im not a expert on these things...what do you think my power figure will be at the moment..

:D Hi guys i have been told by a realiable sorse that 170rwhp or 230at
the flywheel is the most the standard injectors will support,So ever thing beging standard thats it
