apparenly the later model L series of vans and utes had rwd 4g's with multipoint. people also use astron MPI inlets but as thats a fwd, some modifications need to be made

Stariontron, I don't think an astron manifold will go on without causing a whole world of pain. You may be getting confused with the sonata manifold that essentially looks similar to the magna (ECI mulit etc) & bolts onto the Starion head (or so I'm led to believe)

actually yeah i think youre right.. must have got them mixed up. incidentally i had a play around with putting a vr4 manifold on my 12v head, and discovered that there is no other manifold LESS likely to fit on. talk about a pain in the ass

NZ New 2.0 Galants from 87-92 (?) have an MPI manifold that will fit the head, FWD tho, so it needs modification.

wa_greg.. Mitsubishi 2.4l L300 van or Mitsubishi 2.4l Starwagon. Late 80's, early nineties. Manifold bolts straight on.. throttle body will be pointing over the valve cover.

SG or SH L300 van, no later than SH as the distributor mounts off the front of the later models. the sonata injectors fit the L300 manifold

visit www.pbase.com/ashly/inbox for pictures of a L300 manifold with new forward facing plenum

l300 manifold bolts straight up to he starion head, so does the hyundai sonata, i know with the sonata injection a 2.6 astron throttle bodie bolts straight up. not to sure about the l300, also heard somewere that you will need bigger injectors. stock 1300 arnt to flash. from what i heard i could be wrong.

Sonata manifold does bolt straight up but the throttle body will be facing the firewall.

Neither L300 or Sonata injectors will be anywhere near big enough. VR4 or RX7 injectors will fit straight in though.
