springs
I was told by a guy that rallys starions that it was crucial that you replace the valve springs with heavier ones.
I believe that at high revs and high boost, the valves dont close as the cam lobe rolls. this causes the engine to have problems reving. I have spoken to many mechanics even ones that have worked on older V8's, and thay have all said that heavier valve springs are a must.
when i replace my cam i will be fitting heavier valve springs.
