MPI Inlet Manifold Help

Hi All,

I hope you may be able to help me with a question. We are working on a MPI setup and looking at the best Inlet Manifold.

Of course, we plan a FMIC so ideally the manifold would have the intake towards the front.

Any assistance would be great. What are the pros/cons of Sonata, L300 etc?

I'm sure this has been asked before but I was unable to find the answer.

Thanks in advance.

Dave

I haven't done MPI yet myself but from my research on here there are people suggesting the L300 manifold is more restrictive than other front facing manifolds - the downside is the modification needed for the FWD manifolds (swapping the throttlebody to the other end and sorting water pipes)

The L300 mani can be as little restrictive as you like, if you were to weld on a different plenum.
Then you can run FMIC piping with less length & less bends.

From factory the L300 mani has a 48mm butterfly so a quick bolt on option would be this:
