Steering idler arm bushes

Recently I noticed that the bushes in the steering idler arm were badly worn & replaced them a pair of brand new Nolathane ones, but these were absolute crap, softer and sloppier than the worn ones I took out.
Can anyone suggest a suitable replacement kit & supplier. Also has anyone considered fitting some needle roller bearings in leiu of bushes, or does that make the steering feel way too harsh.

My mechanic did the idler arm bushes in my 91 L200 recently and wouldn't use anything aftermarket cause he said they are all crap. He used and will only use the genuine Mitsubishi bushes. He said all the bushes of that vintage are the same so I would be checking with Mitsubishi.

Nolathane ones are rubbish from my experience. I now use nothing but Whiteline bushes - far superior in my opinion. Reasonably priced too.

I struck this years ago with nolathane bushes, the starion idler arm ones are the wrong size!

I use super pro bushes, lifetime warranty can't be sneezed at!

And thats lifetime of the car through multiple owners!
