Whilst rebuilding my TBI tonight, I wasn't sure if I received all the gaskets, and stumbled upon this. Great walk through. shame I read it after the fact :p

This comes in handy as well. Makes future disassembly a breeze.

Yeah well dissembling it has been a breeze except for 2 screws in the throttle body housing which I will be replacing with said HEX bolts once I get them out. Just waiting on my Impact Driver to come today from my step fathers.

Quick question about rebuilding the TBI. The kit comes with a small ball bearing but the instructions didn't explain where it goes. Anyone know?

I have many rebuild kits in the shed.........the kit actually says:

Circled parts are included in most kits, Extra parts are included for other kits

I have pulled many Cordia/Starion TBI's apart only NOT to find where the ball bearing is used........I wouldn't worry about it.

I can probably let one go.........that way I have spares for the guys in the cordia club where needed..............these are becoming pretty hard to come across and are not cheap to get into the country from USA.

PM me.

Yeah thanks. the TBI is now back together as of tonight. Will wait until tomorrow night to fire her up to let the gasket glue time to set. I just wanted to make sure about that ball bearing as I couldn't find it either. Was lucky, I didn't pay for postage from the states :)

I don't remember a ball bearing in my TBI or or in my rebuild kit either.
