I'm looking at running 17x8 at the front and 18x10 at the rear, I'm just wondering the legalities of this in qld and is that too much of a difference in width front and rear that it will adversely affect handling?

The wheels have to be the same size and construction on the same axle, nothing about front to rear.

Thanks Dave, what about the 2 inch width difference, will that affect the handling in a bad way?

widebody rims already have wider rims on the rear.

a wider rear track is meant to increase understeer in general.

Are you doing it for looks?

Woody the widebody rims are only 1 inch difference in width which is offset by the longer front arms.

Thanks Mamun, not doing it for looks just a temp solution to clear the brakes, I got tired of tiny brakes.
