2L Turbo Pajero

Gidday
I have a Pajero that is factory fitted with a 2L petrol Turbo engine.
No one here knows anything about it except 1 guy who reckons it is a Starion engine
The engine No. is G63B
Where can I obtain specs for this engine?
Fuel consumption is a horrendous 17mpg, would this be normal?
It goes well for a 1986 vehicle and does'nt use any oil.

Sounds like a Starion engine. Does your Pajero look anything like this:

Sounds like a Starion motor - if it's SOHC.

Your injection may be different though. Is it single point or multipoint?

Take a photo and post it here if you can. We'd all be interested to see.

Thanks for the info, yes it is SOHC and single point injection.

The engine is the same as a JA engine. I put one in my silver JA. The only difference is the injection system is a little different. No biggy though.

Yep thats a MMC Import Pajero, working on one right now, doing a WOLF3D and MPI L-300 conversion on it, give me a ring if you need advise on it, i worked on this customers car before and he only got 250km's out of a tank before i changed it, after 420km's, but would of been better if he didn't Use his right foot so much with the new found power. Yes everything is STD 86 JB starion setup. Hope this helps.... :beer
