Spotted this product listed as a Supplier partner for the VTA.

Just wondering if anyone has used this stuff.
They claim that it can help reduce detonation - which is what caught my eye as detonation can be an issue on turbo cars.

Pretty expensive as they say you need to use prep fluid to remove all traces of water from your cooling system.

Evans Waterless Coolants never need changing. Once in the cooling system Evans will protect for the life of the engine.

I have been around the parts game for about 15yrs now, never heard of it before.

If it was me, I would be using Redline Water Wetter with distilled water or Nulon Red.

They are targeting a market in high mileage transport applications and continuous running applications. Which leads me to believe that their product is "the real deal".
I called the local stockist and the prices are $89.10 for the coolant and $77 for the prep fluid, both sold in 3.77 litre bottles.
When you look at the price of Red coolant it ends up being not much cheaper than this Evans coolant.

I think I would consider it if I was rebuilding an engine. If you had your radiator cleaned at a shop or were swapping to a new radiator you would not need to use the prep fluid I believe, and you would be probably be fitting a new water pump / thermostat anyway.
The stockist also mentioned that they can test your coolant after you have filled your cooling system to check the percentage of water in your system.
They have another product "Evans Power Sports Coolant" for track and trail bikes etc also.
