Sooo JA injection system pooped itself

Post by Damo11 »

Hey guys Im after a few opinions, its been ages since I spent time here let alone on the starion.....kinda got caught up with the whole well this

So Ive spent alot of time with the starions younger sister, partly because shes fun and partly because I havnt had the time or money to spend on getting my JA back on the road.
I face a descision now Ive either putting an MPI set up I aquired off of vulpes a few years ago which to my knowledge and memory was off of a working JA
OR using a JB injection system I picked up for cheap.
note I do not know the condition of either in entirety, the MPI comes with everything required to operate multi, piggy back ecu with rx7 injectors etc.
My question is which will be easiest to do/ cheapest should I give up and take it into someone to do?

Which will create less reliability problems?

Ive lost all pipe dreams into making this car a world beater, just want a nice nippy unique run about to share the load between it and the GTO :)
Cheers guys.
Heres the pics of the two set ups

I went mpi and haven't regretted it for a seccond but it is quite expensive when you get a new ecu, wire it and pay for dunk time,

I have a full JB engine loom and ECU if you want to go that option
