my engine came out of a galant with a/c and my loom out of a lancer with a/c.

not putting the a/c in the car though but some of the wiring that i'm 99% sure goes to the air conditioning also seems to connect to a sensor on my eci manifold. its down by the fuel regulator, its just got one black wire coming off it and i can't see what else might go there so i'm wondering if it IS for the a/c and hopefully i don't need it hooked up

cheers
Matt

by the way, the wiring comes from B12 on the pinouts from the computer, comes up as a/c for ja starions, my lancer wiring diagram has it as empty.

Best bet: get the manuals and find the electrics diagram. There are manuals available online, check some previous threads to find them (u might have to go back a few months)

done all that, thats why i'm trying here.

i'll just try and run it without it, can't think of anything else that would be important enough to stop it from starting. got a bit more wiring to do before that anyway,

cheers

i've got this funny feeling that i was looking at the plug upside down and for B12 i should have been reading B8 which means it not for a/c, its for pressure exchange solenoid valve?

just to prove it where is the pressure exchange solenoid valve???? (and whats it for  )

and i'll try and borrow a digicam and get some pictures this weekend.

cheers

It's one of those little black plastic things which has 2 or 3 vacuum hoses coming off it and 2 wires which controls the air in things like wastegate actuator, vacuum advance, cant remember the other uses.
I was just looking, but unfortunately i dont have a picture of one.
