help needed about(turbo's)

hi all just like to no what turbo's will fit a ja 84 model starion 2.0l sohc...as i will be looking for one soon but would like a standed size new one...only because im getting a stock ecu and map sensor as i dont no much about this stuff and dont wont to crack my new piston's again..

Hopefully your new pistons are forged not cast items :?

hi mate i dont think thay will be as i payed $230 for the 60thou over sized piston and ring then $290 to be bored out...thats why im just going all stock so i dont do any more damage..

this should fit nicely, just rotate the housing 180 degrees,

Hi Brett,
Your JA came with the TC06 oil cooled only.
There is one for sale by JJH in the for sale section.
The TC05 turbo you have will do the job but it's also water cooled, so you will need to tap into the piping....
The TC05 is a smaller turbo with better low down response and will not damage your engine. Although, the turbo runs out of puff in the high revs.
I doubt there is anything wrong with your ecu, but you will probably need a good map sensor and all vac lines hooked up properly.

hi mate cool thanks heaps now thats bigger help...the thing is i can not find the right vac diagram for my kind of car..

That's an Evo4+ twin scroll reverse orientation turbo (hence the R in TD05HR) which will not fit to a standard Starion exhaust manifold.
