My clutch only seems to work at the very (very) bottom of it's travel. you almost have to push it through the firewall to get it to engage. I have bled the clutch master cylinder and changed the fluid but it's still the same. Anybody please have some ideas ???

Assuming stock parts:
Leaking master and/or slave
Air/water in the clutch fluid
Clutch pivot ball really worn
Clutch plate really worn
Compressed/squashed/mashed throwout bearing
Clutch plate assembly loose on flywheel (it lifts instead of disengages the clutch)

I've had all the above issues, it wont be a bent or broken fork. They screw up on other cars but not these.

First thing is to get under the car & inspect then check the travel as someone else depresses the clutch, that should answer the first two before pulling stuff apart Darryl

Have you recently replaced the clutch or pressure plate?

If so with some aftermarket assemblies your need to place a spacer / washer (x2) under the pivot bolt of the throw out fork to reset the static height.

If you don't then the slave cylinder runs out of travel not allowing the clutch to fully disengage.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the responses. I have since learned that you can readily buy brand new clutch slave and master cylinders. I will replace both of these first and see how they go. Very cheap, about 50 bucks a pop.
