LSD rebuild kit

Recently I have noticed my LSD is slipping when I do some spirited driving and even in the rain it just starts open wheeling. I plan on re building it to turn It back into an LSD and to reset the backlash as it is abit cluncky.
Does anyone know where I can get the clutch pack from? Has anybody done it before?
I also plan on rebuilding the torque tube as it clicks and drives me mad so I will also need another torque tube bearing assuming it can be replaced. Hopefully I will have a strong drive line then so I can start building the twin cam. I see no point in having huge power when the driveline isn't up to it.

Thats a bummer on the lsd.. yeah i would be curious in this also just in case in future i need to do one..
In regards to your torque tube fix... here is the bearing you need to use to replace it

There is a thread on starquestclub.com in regards to the lsd and a separate thread in regards to pulling torque tube apart and putting in new bearing.

Expensive.
A good quality 6206-RS bearing should be about $2 from any bearing shop.
And the LSD rebuild kits are available from Motospecs

1320, you wanna get rid of the clunk before it goes bang. Personal experience there...

Just got off the phone to motorspecs and they said they dont have any of the parts and can't get them.
Any other places that might stock them?
Gotta love having such a unique car

I have heard that the LSD clutch plates etc in the centre are similar if not identical to an R180 centre. Have you pulled it apart as yet? Are you able to take the bits in for somebody to look over and confirm what is required to rebuild them. There is a bit of conjecture about this and nobody is really sure what is what....or they are holding the information close to their chests.

I plan to rebuild my spare torque tube and put it in with the open diff, again  Then while it's out I'll take it all apart and suss what needs to be replaced and take it to some local diff specialists to see if there's some similar parts that I can use from other diffs. Worst case I figure I can just get some shims made to add more pre load on the clutches but this is obviously only if clutches arent economical. Mitsubishi want $230 per shim so I think having some made is the way to go LOL
If I remember to take some photos I might make a thread on The rebuild to help all the rest of you with slippery diffs. No point in having power if you're going to spin it all away on the inside wheel. rofl
