I bought a sonata manifold off Hugh (MitsuMadness) recently and plan to install it in 2 weeks. So far I have:
- Sonata manifold (modded with xf tb) - thanks Hugh
- Evo 3 450cc injectors or 550cc ca18 injectors
- V4 EMS stinger
- Vl fuel pump (should I upgrade to 044)
- 300 x 450 Intercooler
- Sonata and Evo 3 fuel rail
- magna tps
So I need:
- Bosch 715 coil packs
- Optical Dizzy
- Bosch 044 pump?
- Gaskets ect
- Lengthened throttle cable
Is there anything I missed in the list Or is there any problems I may encounter?
What is the best way to route the Intercooler piping? Does anyone have a list of bends I'd need so I can just get them welded?
Can I run the sohc MPI off the Evo tune on my ecu, or one of the vr4 maps on the EMS website just as a base to drive it to the dyno?
Thanks
Max

Just remembered I have a complete Evo 3 motor in the shed that will one day go in the staz so can I use the ignition off that (coil pack ect) or any other parts in the swap?
I have sonata and Evo fuel rail and tps, probably map sensor too (I hope)
But forgot about the bloody cable. How much does this need to be lengthened as I can just grab the spare out of my smirf blue one?
Is an adjustable fpr a necessity or just a luxury?

You will also possibly need an air temperature sensor, a water temperature sensor, & relays with fuses to control the fuel pump & ECU power.
Also remember to have good earthing on the ECU, & run all the earth common wires from the injectors & sensors etc. back to a common grounding point near the ECU. And keep all wiring well clear of your spark plug leads to prevent any induction of high voltages.
