From the manual for a US Staz.
Crankcase 3.8 lt
Oil filter 0.5 lt
Oil cooler 0.4 lt
Put 4 litres in, it'll be fine. There will be a little left in the motor after you drain it and chuck the filter.

Has someone cut the end off as a gag?
Or is it a left handed one in a right handed sump LOL
4.5 lt from memory
I have a workshop manual for my 86 I'll confirm that later

Do you have the problem where there's different amounts of oil on each side of the dispstick?

if that happens just measure the distance inbetween and call it centre.

mine takes five litres, but that is prolly because the oil cooler has been moved further away... but then again the sump has been made smaller... i would put in a random value between 4.5 and 5 litres :)

a random value gets my vote :D
my brothers ex gf's car had a dodgy dip stick.. it was about 2 inchs shorter than mine, so she could only check the oil when ever i was at their house or they were here rofl
