I picked the missing cover over the timing belt after just a quick look, and the fact that it needs a good clean in there.

Wow that looks great, ide srsly consider getting one, but i cant see how im gonna get a bov attached to that :(

So here is my noob question of the day, if i were to have an intercooler, would it simply connect between the 2 ends of the crossover, ie. the intercooler wud b between the 2 ends?

it can be like that like in the WRX the intercooler is on top off the engine but most starions have got a fmic(front mount intercooler) that sits just under the front bar.

well someone else could give you better info than i can :beer

put quite simply.. yes.. the hot air from the turbo is cooled down with an intercooler before going into the throttle body.. :D

i want one.. :(

lol okies then...hrm im trying to decide whether to spend my money on show or go....grrr...i can get the car up to registration standard again thru swapping stuff that isnt working from my other car.

then i have the big choice of doing engine mods, or making it pimp...lol

yep, the timing belt cover is missing, will go back on soon,

the hose is not missing off the turbo, just looks that way, or the wastegate would not work, and yes there is tape around the PCV hose, it split and popped off the other night after a high boost session on the highway.. quick fix by the roadside...

:x
that clamp is ok, just looks funny..

there's more than 3 things that need attention now anyway, I just need the time and patience, everytime I fix something something else seems to pop up out of nowhere...
