Injector question

Post by bjwatso »

Hi All,

This might be a stupid question but i've recently had my injectors cleaned and can't remember which way they go back in i.e. which is primary and secondary? They are numbered 1 and 2 but which goes closest to the rocker cover?

thanks, Ben

On the 2.6L motor, the green top injector is closest to the rocker cover over the black.
As a matter of fact, I would have thought the Dash powered Starions and 88-90 2.6L widies had staged injectors.....
Not aware of any other 2Litres staged??
Besides, you have a 50:50 chance of getting it right as guess work! :)

Thanks guys, mines a 2.0l 88. I thought both cars were the same but my injectors are the same colour (green).

Does this just mean that they put out same volume of fuel but are still staged?
