Does anyone know how to take off the door trim easily, I don't want to break any clips
upt a screwdriver under the head of the clip and lift it from there, i think carsten had a 2 fork screwdriver thing u put around the clip and just lift easy :P other then that i think if they are old and brittle its the only way theyre gonna come out

acually the boot lining clips are just standard interior clips, got some after mine broke, looked a little longer but still clipped straight in.

Are the clips the entire way around the door trim? I know there are a couple of screws around the handles but is that it?

lol
i have broken all but one i think.. and in the back its just as bad.. although the door trims still stay on perfect..
my door trims are on the way off.
:x
After going back to work after my 2 weeks holidays, one of the guy's informed me that they broke into my car to put some parts in.
I wasn't too pleased about the break in especially after being told,i went to open the door and the key does nothing. :x
The connecting rod must've come off so i have to take the door trims off to fix it. :x
not happy. cars doors opened perfectly before.
guess there is a first time for everything.

trim
I have to take the trim off to pop out a dint in the door from a bastard ford driver who decided to open his door on my car. BASTARD. Also, I want to re-trim a bit of it for the show and I need to put my new speakers in the doors.
is it hard to knock out a door dent? i've got a supermarket style door dent on my door too... might have to give it a go, how you doing it?

dent
I just got the Mitsubishi Starion 1987 Mitsubishi dealership workshop manual and it shows every delail of everything, even where the clips are. Also, it is hard to knock out the dints. I just tried the other day and the trim was off in about 2 minutes and the dint went from about a 50cent piece to a five cent piece. The hardest bit is finding it because on the inside of the door, the paint isn't reflective so you can't notice it much.
