Hazards stuck on?

Hey all,

Noticed a weird problem with the new car. Now that I have the starter almost in (just waiting for a mate to come over with a ratchet to help me put it in) I chucked the battery back in and just connected it to make sure all the interior lights were working and stuff. Got out of the car and noticed that the hazards were stuck on (not blinking...just ON). Pressed hazard button, nothing, pulled hazard light fuse, still on.

Any idea?

Maybe you've pinched a wire onto the body of the car?

hmm mine did this the other night, My car's sitting there with a battery not being all the best( care of shot alternator).
Not too long ago i pulled the dash apart to fit some new globes and fix the broken hazard button. From memory i don't think that i put enough of the electrical lube on.
This causes the switch to be a bit fiddly( not a good contact) That kind of makes me think it has to do with the contact on the hazard switch and a possiblity of not the best charge in the system.
Could even be as simple as a blown globe, or one not being in properly causing a broken contact.
Could the starter not being in, cause the electrical circuit to have a break in it? i don't know as i don't have a complete wiring diag.

Swap the indicator replay with the hazard relay or pull the hazard relay out. See how that goes
