and problems problems problems.
as far as the cars going, yesterday i had to deal with 1 dead water pump gasket and 1 dead water line o-ring, both found out the hard way, there goes 2 bottles of coolant, then turn the fuel pump on to find fuel pissing everywhere, got the o-ring for the fuel supply line today fitter that and ofcourse theres something else, fuel was leaking from the wires, so after a bit of a search round here (thanks al and others for a good destription of what was gonig on and how to take the cap off), figured that means that the injector o-rings are stuffed.
so im thinking of just taking it to either and injector place tomorrow or a seal/o-ring place, but i cant get the eci cap apart, all the screws are out, but i dont know wich way its supposed to come apart, im dont think i should push on the injectors from the bottom, or does it seperate from the top metal bit like this?
its pretty tight on there if it goes that way. Would you reccomend going to an injector specialist or just an o-ring place?
Thanks
PS

Hmmm
Yes they come apart like you have figured out.
There is a *BIG* perished O-ring between them, which is probably stuck to both. (It should only be stuck to the top).
Just 4 screws holding them together, **BUT**
The injectos O-rings also stick to the top part, and the injectors rubber bungs to the bottom, and they perish and get sticky too, so be careful.
If the injectors stay with the bottom (or if either one does) then you'll destroy the injector.
Check my site:

That might make it more clear.
There's a "Wireframe" diagram in three colours to show you all three parts.

thanks heaps to david and al, got it all off and back in, had to sand the o-rings a little, but they went back it, is one green and one metal coloured injector normal, it was green up where it sits into the injector holder.
of course thats not the end of the problems, something else now, i guess a new thread is in order as this time its electrics.
