size of turbo bolts

size of turbo bolts

two of my turbo to manifold bolts have came of, and i went to replace them with m10 size nuts wich i found were to small and the m 12 nuts were to large.
What size is the turbo to mainifold stud ?

Take one of the bolts out and take it down to mitre 10 or wherever they have one of those thread tester thingies on the bolt display.

There are two pitch angles for metric threads (1.0 and 1.25) so your M12 might be the right size, but you've picked the wrong pitch (if it screws in a bit but then gets stuck that's probably the problem). I recently bought a whole new set for mine, but NFI what size they were :)

ahh i think thats the problem
TAking of the nut was my last resort as i only have one left, and if you try to unbolt that within 45mins of the engine being run och :oops:

Might be easier top get off when its hot and expanded a little tho? Look on the bright side man! :)
