I'm sure this has been covered before, but I couldn't find it...
I'm wondering what differences there are in the actual blocks between Starions, VR4, EVO, etc?
Cheers.

6 bolt N/A blocks have oil squirter bosses, 7 bolt N/A blocks dont. otherwise there's not much difference between them..
Fibreglass airdams $370, fibreglass front bumpers $260, reco drag links $165, alloy radiators $925 (unpolished), h/l switch rebuilds $125, all plus freight.

You can't use a 6 bolt crank in a 7 bolt block, and vice versa. The oil pump is different between 6 bolt and 7 bolt, as is the sump as the 7 bolt oil pump is shaped differently.

Yep Lancer Evo 1 onwards, also RVR Turbos from 1993 onwards, and about end of '91/beginning of '92 is when the N/A RVRs went from 6 bolt to 7 bolt on their N/A DOHC models.
The HJ Galant 2.0L SOHC engines will be 7 bolt also.
