Hi guys, i plan to upgrade my turbo from a tc06 to a td05, is there anything i should know before parting with my cash? Any advice is appreciated.

The stock TC06 is capable of making decent power, especially if flowed/ported out, there is a writeup showing what's involved somewhere on this forum. but generally the td05h-big16g is the turbo that you want, most agree is a good match for the starion

Honestly, the best advice I can give you is to contact MRB1 on this forum. He owns and operates GT Pumps here in Sydney (check out his website below) and specialises in turbo upgrades for Mitsubishi's. What he doesnt know about the subject isnt worth knowing and comes with a "no bullshit" guarantee.

He will give you all the right answers to the questions you need to ask and build you the exact right turbo for your needs. He carries all the parts, will build it for you and can supply things like dump pipe flanges, gaskets etc etc.

save yourself a lot of trouble and expense and get the right advice up front.
