aftermarket sway bars??? what brand

hi i want some bigger sway bars for the f+r of the JA.
who makes them?
who has used what brand?
what did you think of them?
Are they available?

Yes they are avaliable, they were whitline but are now selbys.
They are 22mm rear and 24mm front

Goto a good suspension centre they should have listings,I doubt pedders.

Jeepers. Does that equal double the effective width of the sway bars as a whole or double the torsional rigidity?

Two sway bars front and rear.

It was an experiment I did a few years ago. If it's good enough for every RX3 on the planet, it's good enough for me :)

Worked very well too, you can adjust the rate by moving the end mounts along the bars. Made a big difference and all it cost me was some nolathane type material, a couple of hours and two stock sway bars.

I would say torsional rigidity increased but to what extent I don't know and can't measure. It was a lot stiffer than normal. Car sat pretty flat when cornering. When the rear bar was adjusted to max(?) it became very oversteery so I had to back it off.
