Hey guys, just wondering if anyone has any tips or methods they use when replacing the front suspension. I've just replaced the inserts with KYB's and chucked some lowered king springs in, but i'm having trouble getting the strut back in. The main problem i'm having is that i can't compress the new suspension enough to actually get it up onto the steering mounts (or whatever ya wanna call em.)

IIRC a big prybar levering the lower arm usually works with a bit of weight on it

I used a scissor jack wedged between the lower suspension arm and the crossmember and started winding it out.

pretty sure i stood on mine while holding onto the guard for balance, then had the missus move the strut in.

but we do it rough in gladdy LOL

i usualy just do the big prybar wedged between something and laying over the lower arm so you can just stand on it to lever it down
