buy a spare crossover pipe from someone on the forum. should cost stuff all.

see where the bov will fit over top of the valve cover, then get pipe welded onto spare crossover pipe (depends on BOV but usually 25-38mm. Exhaust shop should do it cheap)
T a vacuum line from the last port off the throttle body (closest to firewall) to the BOV. If its adjustable, keep it fairly tight to prevent leaking on idle.

waits for someone to shoot my procedure down rofl

This was a standard pipe. Maybe Europe thing???

Not a Europe thing, a later type injection with intercooler type thing. Same principle if it's an early injection system. Just be careful when welding, the pipe is fairly thin and if you are not careful you will make more holes than you will need.

Thats why i originally posted about buying a second one.

Incase the welding stuffs up.
And if the Police ping you for it.

Can throw the stock one back on.

I personally wouldn't install a BOV.

There have been hundreds of people who have datalog'd the difference on the track and in most cases the car was always slower with the BOV then without it.

The compressor has to surge really badly for their to be a positive difference in fitting a BOV (and a small BOV at that).

You are essentially throwing away all that compressed air you used your exhaust gas to turn and compress.

Even the international rally cars are now regulated to how big a "boost tank" they can fit (inbetween the IM and the intercooler outlet) because of the positive difference it makes to the overall cars off boost performace.

I would have to agree, bov's are emmission devices designed for AFM cars. Your car can only run worse with one fitted.

having personally destroyed a perfectly good turbo due to running 20psi and no bov, i think they're a good idea..

id assume 80% of people would also want it for the sound factor alone!

cant you just plumb it back to your turbo inlet to not be wasting compressed air?
