Non factory turbo, more pics.

Post by vr4gone »

Two questions.
1. Can anyone make out if the turbo on my starion is factory of not?
2. Is that an adapter plate in the second picture?
Cheers :)
I'll try to get better pictures tomorrow. Battery died on the camera.

There is a plaque on the back of the comp housing with
Model: TB03 AUTO
S/N: TT241106-4

There is also PP 134043 stamped on the comp housing as you can see.

Well the connectors and fittings certainly aren't factory or stock.
We really do need more pics to be sure though.
If you can see for yourself, does it have any markings on it..?

new pics up. I have done some research and found that it's a Garrett turbo which is very similar to the Mitsubishi TD05. It's a shame it's shagged, doh. :x

The compressor housing is identical to a Sigma Turbo Airesearch housing.
